Comac is the youth wing of the Belgian marxist party, the Workers' Party of Belgium (WPB). The movement is active in six Belgian universities, many colleges and secondary schools, and also has several community organizing projects. Comac is a pan-Belgian youth movement which brings young people from Flanders, Wallonia and Brussels together. People between 14 and 30 years of age are able to join. It is not necessary to be a member of the WPB to join.

History

Comac is a result of the 2003 merger of the Leninist MML, Mouvement marxiste leniniste, and Marxistisch-Leninistische Beweging (MLB), which were active at universities, and Rebelle or Rode Jeugd, who were active in the secondary schools.
