Colombuthurai (Tamil: கொழும்புத்துறை, Sinhalese: කොලොම්තර Colombathora) is a coastal suburb of the Jaffna town in the Jaffna District of Sri Lanka. It has been adversely affected due to the Sri Lankan civil war. The popular Tamil Writer Mr.S.E Yoganathan was born in this village. Siththar Siva Yogar Swamigal[1] also lived in this village
