Coleman Peak

Coleman Peak (77°29′S 167°29′E) is a peak rising to about 1,600 metres (5,250 ft) on the northeast slope of Mount Erebus, Ross Island, 3.6 nautical miles (6.7 km) east of the summit of Fang Ridge. It was named by the New Zealand Geographic Board (2000) after Father John Coleman, a New Zealand chaplain, who traveled to Antarctica many times with the U.S. Antarctic Program.
