Clyde D. Mead was a political candidate in Wisconsin. In 1918, Mead was a candidate for Lieutenant Governor of Wisconsin. He lost to incumbent Edward Dithmar. In 1920, he ran for the United States Senate, losing to incumbent Irvine Lenroot. Mead later ran for Treasurer of Wisconsin. He lost to Solomon Levitan. Mead was a member of the Prohibition Party.
