History
Cleveland was founded in 1882. It was named for Cleveland, Ohio. A post office has been in operation at Cleveland since 1882.
Geography
Cleveland is located at 46°53′27″N 99°7′9″W (46.890961, -99.119189).
According to the United States Census Bureau, the city has a total area of 0.18 square miles (0.47 km2), all of it land.
2010 census
As of the census of 2010, there were 83 people, 40 households, and 21 families residing in the city. The population density was 461.1 inhabitants per square mile (178.0/km2). There were 54 housing units at an average density of 300.0 per square mile (115.8/km2). The racial makeup of the city was 100.0% White.
There were 40 households of which 20.0% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 47.5% were married couples living together, 5.0% had a male householder with no wife present, and 47.5% were non-families. 42.5% of all households were made up of individuals and 15% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older. The average household size was 2.08 and the average family size was 2.90.
The median age in the city was 44.5 years. 21.7% of residents were under the age of 18; 2.3% were between the ages of 18 and 24; 26.4% were from 25 to 44; 27.6% were from 45 to 64; and 21.7% were 65 years of age or older. The gender makeup of the city was 56.6% male and 43.4% female.

The average household size was 2.15 and the average family size was 2.68.
