History
Clear Fork Royalty was founded in 2009 by Joseph DeWoody, Ryan Haggerty and Michael DeWoody. Joseph is also the President of the company. Joseph DeWoody, is from Fort Worth, Texas and an alumnus of Southwest Christian School and Baylor University.
After working together at Pendragon Oil, a company founded by Michael DeWoody, Joseph, Michael and Ryan founded Clear Fork Royalty in 2009, an oil and gas mineral rights and royalty acquisition company which has acquired interests in over 250 counties in 24 states in the US.
Clear Fork Royalty began its major expansions in 2012 with Establishment of Its Acquisition Partnership Clear Fork Royalty II, LP. Under Joseph's leadership, the company started expanding into the northeast corridor to begin acquisition of Pennsylvania and West Virginia Marcellus Shale Rights.
In September 2014, the company won the Greater Tarrant Business Ethics Award from the Fort Worth Chamber of Commerce. In January 2016, Clear Fork Royalty won a second award for ethics, Torch Award for Marketplace Excellence from the Fort Worth/Tarrant County Better Business Bureau.
