Claudia DeMonte

Claudia DeMonte is an American artist from New York City. She is both a painter and exhibition curator, best known for her development of female-centric art exhibitions featuring works from over 170 countries. An eponymous book covering her artistic career was published in 2009 by Pomegranate Communications. She is married to artist Ed McGowin. Over her career she has had more than sixty one-woman exhibitions of her work and has been a part of more than 300 group exhibitions.
