Clandestine Industries is a clothing company owned by Pete Wentz of Fall Out Boy and partners. The products used to be sold on http://www.clandestineindustries.com until the website was shut down or alongside Fall Out Boy merchandise at shows. The official social media websites also appear to have been abandoned, due to no posts having been added since 2012.

Company history

Clandestine Industries was formed in 2006 by Fall Out Boy bassist Pete Wentz, who published his first book, The Boy With A Thorn In His Side, through the company. After Wentz found success with the book, he decided to expand the company to design and sell clothing.

Since its initial inception, Clandestine Industries has created many different types of clothing, focusing on producing limited-edition tees, hoodies, and accessories (establishing the line's Batheart logo), while working with companies and brands such as DKNY Jeans, Wet Seal and Nordstrom. In 2007, Clandestine Industries Landmark retail store opened in Pete's hometown of Chicago, which contained some store-only exclusives. In February 2009, Clandestine Industries relaunched its website and debuted a new collection entitled, "Don't Call It A Comeback," and immediately sold out of items only an hour after the release. The line is currently sold online only at clandestineindustries.com and at the Chicago Landmark location. On June 27, 2010 the Chicago Landmark store closed. On Wentz's blog, he explained that the closing of the Landmark would aid in expanding the brand's webstore.

In June 2011, the website was relaunched with a brand new summer range. Wentz commented on his blog, "this is what the original intention of Clandestine was". Although no official announcement has been made, the brand is considered to be defunct.
