The church was founded on 17 February 1931 in Java and has 307 congregations an 220,000 members in 37 classes, spread over 6 provinces on the island of Java, Yogyakarta, East Java, West Java, Jakarta, Banten. Its theological orientation is Reformed and has Presbyterian church government.
