Christ Church (grid reference SD775116) is a church in Walshaw, Greater Manchester, England. It is a Grade II* listed building. The church was built in 1888 in the Gothic Revival style by Lawrence Booth. The construction was paid for by Rev J G Haworth and Miss Nancy Haworth.

The churchyard contains war graves of three soldiers and two airmen of World War II.

Christ Church is a very warm and welcoming evangelical church.Worship is informal and relaxed. Hymns and praise songs are sung as part of the worship. On Sundays the church has a busy Children's Church which meets most weeks except on the 1st Sunday of the month when worship takes the form of a very engaging all age service. There are also lots of toys and activities for the youngest members of the church actually in the main part of the church which makes it possible for parents / carers to stay in the service while at the same time keeping an eye on their 'tots' while they play.

Generally Holy Communion is every other week - with Morning Worship on the other Sundays. Baptisms take place whenever there is a fifth Sunday in the month and services of 'Thanksgiving & Blessings' take place after the morning services on any Sunday.

There is a very active 'lay ministry' at Christ Church' and this includes lay members leading services and sharing reflections / preaching / teaching.

In 2016 the church focused on developing how it 'connects' with the local community.

Christ Church has good connections in the local community - including the church primary school and the local day nursery, and it actively supports local voluntary secular and Christian mission agencies including Porch Boxes food bank, Street Pastors, and the Message. Christ Church also engages in national and international ministry through its support and partnership with Tearfund, Crosslinks, the Bible Society and Musalaha: ministry of reconciliation.

Services times: on a Sunday services start at 11am with a time for refreshments prior to the service starting at 10.30am.

The current Priest in Charge of Christ Church Walshaw is Revd Steve Openshaw.
