Chris McGale (March 10, 1923 – September 21, 2003) was a Toronto jazz and country swing violinist born in Cobalt, Ontario, Canada. He toured the United States in the 1950s, working briefly with Hank Williams, Hank Snow, Don Messer, "Tennessee" Ernie Ford and Don Steele.

The McGale surname is not common and according to the Census of Ireland 1901 (http://www.census.nationalarchives.ie/search/) seems to be almost exclusively linked to County Tyrone.
