Chris Barnard (executioner)

Chris Barnard (died between 1990 and 2008) was a South African executioner during the Apartheid Era. He executed around 1,500 people between 1962 and 1986. Most of his executions were conducted on ordinary murderers. He has been deceased for quite some time.
