Flood in chowk pindori


Chowk Pindori is located near Kallar Sayedan about 30 km away from Rawalpindi, Pakistan. Shahbagh and Darkali are the sub villages situated in this area. It has a population of about 200,000 people. There are people of all the classes but majority is mediocre. Language that is spoken here is pothwari and it resembles a lot with Punjabi. Main source of income is agriculture. Villagers mainly cultivate wheat and maize to earn for living. Income also results from the sale of dairy products and consequently contribute to the economy. Punjabi culture is followed here. Villagers usually wear shalwar qameez dopatta and the dance they perform in wedding functions is bhangra, this all comes under Punjabi culture.
