Chongqing hot pot (麻辣火鍋 mala huoguo) is a variant of Hot pot of Sichuan origin. It is usually eaten at restaurants, but otherwise is similar to roadside Malatang. Chongqing hot pot is similar to the dry stir-fry mala xiangguo (zh:麻辣香锅) which is also eaten in restaurants.
