Chionodes johnstoni is a moth in the Gelechiidae family. It is found in North America, where it has been recorded from California.

The wingspan is 11–16 mm. The forewings are fuscous with four small blackish-fuscous spots preceded and followed by pale yellow scales. There is a small blackish-fuscous shade on the base of the costa, mixed with pale-yellow scales. There is also a prominent pale-yellow spot on the costa at the apical fourth, extending across the wing. Two or three small pale-yellow spots are found along the termen. The hindwings are greyish fuscous, darker at the margins.
