China's Special Envoy on the Middle East Issue is a special diplomatic position appointed by the Chinese Foreign Ministry. The Special Envoy takes major responsibilities in facilitating the Arab-Israeli peace process.

The first appointment was declared in 2002, "at the request of several Arab states". Wang Shijie, former Chinese Ambassador to Bahrain, Jordan and Iran was appointed the first Special Envoy, and was succeeded by Sun Bigan in June 2006. In 2009, the post was taken over by Ambassador Wu Sike. Wu is the incumbent Special Envoy on the Middle East Issue of China.
