Chile–Indonesia relations

Chile – Indonesia relations refers to international relations between Chile and Indonesia. The two nations are both members within the Non-Aligned Movement, WTO, Pacific Economic Cooperation Council, Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation, Intergovernmental Council of Copper Exporting Countries, and the Cairns Group. Indonesia maintains an embassy in Santiago. Chile maintains an embassy in Jakarta.

History

Bilateral relations between Chile and Indonesia were established in 1964. These relations were strengthened by the establishment of the Indonesian embassy in Santiago in March 1991.
