Chidamide (Epidaza) is an HDAC inhibitor (HDI) developed wholly in China. It was originally known as HBI-8000.

It is a benzamide HDI and inhibits Class I HDAC1, HDAC2, HDAC3, as well as Class IIb HDAC10.

It is approved by the Chinese FDA for relapsed or refractory peripheral T-cell lymphoma (PTCL), and having orphan drug status in Japan.

As of April 2015 it is only approved in China.

It shows potential in treating pancreatic cancer.

Is NOT approved for the treatment of pancreatic cancer.
