Cherry Ventures is a Berlin-based venture capital firm that specializes in providing seed-stage funding to consumer technology companies.
Founded by Filip Dames, Daniel Glasner and Christian Meermann which have co-founded successful internet companies such as ZALANDO and QUANDOO Cherry Ventures typically provides seed-stage funding and focuses on portfolio companies' growth during their first 18 months. The company takes an active role in supporting the development of its portfolio companies.
The firm has launched its first fund in 2012 which has invested in the seed stage of companies like AUTO1, ALOHA, LESARA, QUANDOO, HappyFresh and AMORELIE. Fund II was announced in 2016 at a total volume of 150M EUR.
