Cherno Sulayman Jallow, QC is a former Attorney General of the British Virgin Islands, a position that he held from 1999 to 2007. Jallow stepped down as Attorney General during 2007 to take up a position within the British Virgin Islands Financial Services Commission, where he is director of Policy, Research and Statistics.
He was appointed as a Queen's Counsel (QC) of the British Virgin Islands bar in 2007, although curiously is not admitted to practice as a lawyer in the jurisdiction.
Jallow, a native of The Gambia, originally came to the British Virgin Islands as a parliamentary draftsman, but was appointed to act as Attorney General when Dancia Penn stepped down.
