Cherie Mercado-Santos (born October 29, 1974) is a Filipina broadcast journalist in TV5. Mercado anchors TV5's noontime newscast Aksyon Sa Tanghali with Raffy Tulfo. She has also worked with ABS-CBN.
On July 15, 2016, Mercado left TV5, her home network for 12 years to become the spokesperson of the Department of Transportation (DOTR). Santos, later resigned in May 2017 due to her motherhood.
