Crop circles from the air cheesefoot head hampshire reported 4th august 2016

Cheesefoot Head (/ˈɛsfʊt/) is a large natural amphitheatre (also known as Matterley Bowl) and beauty spot just outside Winchester, England. It is situated on the A272 road (South Downs Way), and is rated a Site of Special Scientific Interest. There are three bowl barrows on the site.

During the Second World War boxing events were held here for the entertainment of American troops stationed locally, and prior to D-Day, General Eisenhower addressed those troops.

Cheesefoot Head is regularly the site of crop circles, though at least one year there was an outline of a footballer.

The now defunct Homelands music festival was held in Matterley Bowl annually. In addition, The Glade music festival was held here in 2009. Boomtown music festival was held here in 2013 and will be again in 2015.
