Chebrolu village comes under Pithapuram constituency which is a biggest Gram panchayat in Gollaprolu mandal after converted Gollaprolu into a Municipality. The village has more than 14,177 people according to 2011 census of India.

In earlier days Chebrolu was called Chebolu and Chembuprolu. Chebrolu is a famous for Rama Navami festival. The festival organises nearly 8 days in SriSeethaRamaTemple of Chebrolu village in every year. High school is located at outskirts of the village by road side and government is named as smt&sri challa venkata rao challa Padma Raju z.p.p.h school because land is donated by the couple which is covered by area 4 acres.

Location

The village is exactly in between Kattipudi (North) and Gollaprolu (South). Some of the other villages around Chebrolu are Durgada, Alavilli Mallavaram, Tatiparthi and Chandurthi, etc. National Highway 214 is going through this village and also the village is exactly 5 km away from National Highway 5, which passes through Kattipudi village.
