The Charles Hammond House is one of the oldest residences in North Augusta, South Carolina. The original home was a two-story pine clapboard structure, built circa 1775-1780. Significant additions were made in 1830 and a formal garden was added in 1830. The view of the home from the public highway is very limited. The Charles Hammond House was added to the National Register of Historic Places on October 2, 1973.
