Lieutenant Colonel Charles Edmund Towry-Law, 3rd Baron Ellenborough (17 November 1820 – 9 October 1890) was a member of the House of Lords. He was the oldest surviving son of The Honourable Charles Ewan Law QC who had 10 children.

Law succeeded to the title on the death of his uncle, Edward Law, 2nd Baron Ellenborough in 1871. He was educated at Winchester College and joined the British Army in 1844. He reached the rank of Lieutenant Colonel in the 6th Regiment of Foot.
In 1885, Charles Edmund Towry Law assumed, by royal licence, the additional surname of Towry.
Family
Law married four times: firstly in 1840 he married Lady Eleanor Cecil Howard (daughter of William Howard, 4th Earl of Wicklow) who died in 1852. Secondly in 1855, Anna Elizabeth Fitzgerald-Day who died in 1860. Thirdly, in 1863, Isabella Ogilby who died in 1874 and fourthly Beatrice Joanna Knatchbull in 1874.
Charles Towry-Law died in 1890 and was succeeded by his son Charles Towry-Law, 4th Baron Ellenborough. His fourth wife Beatrice died in 1932.
