Charles Vernon Eccles (20 August 1843 – 21 February 1890) was an English cricketer. Eccles was a right-handed batsman who bowled Underarm slow, although with which arm he bowled is unknown.

Eccles was educated at Cheltenham College, where he represented the college cricket team.

Eccles made his first-class debut for Hampshire against Lancashire in 1870.

In 1874 Eccles represented the Gentlemen of Marylebone Cricket Club in a single first-class match against Kent.

Eccles final first-class match came in 1875 for Hampshire against Kent.

Eccles's died at Bareilly, Uttar Pradesh on 21 February 1890.

Family

Eccles brother William Eccles represented the Marylebone Cricket Club in two first-class matches.
