Charaxes cedreatis, the green demon charaxes, is a butterfly in the Nymphalidae family. It is found in Guinea, Sierra Leone, Liberia, Ivory Coast, Ghana, Nigeria, Cameroon, Bioko, Gabon, the Republic of the Congo, the Central African Republic, southern Sudan, northern Angola, the Democratic Republic of the Congo, Uganda, south-western Kenya, western Tanzania and north-western Zambia. The habitat consists of evergreen forests, Brachystegia woodland and riverine forests.

Adult males feed on otter scats, but are also attracted to other carnivore droppings, as well as moist sand. Adult females seem to prefer fermenting fruit and sap oozing from wounds in tree trunks and branches.

The larvae feed on Albizia brownei, Albizia grandibracteata, Albizia zygia, Griffonia simplicifolia, Annona senegalensis, Dalbergia lactea and Scutia myrtina.
