Charaxes alpinus, the montane charaxes, is a butterfly in the Nymphalidae family. It is found in eastern Zimbabwe. The habitat consists of montane forests in the Eastern Highlands.
Adults are on wing year round.
The larvae feed on Albizia adianthifolia.
