The Chambers Institution is home to the Tweeddale Museum and Gallery, a museum, library and art gallery at Peebles in the Scottish Borders area of Scotland.
The building is named after the publisher William Chambers who was one of the founders of what is now the Chambers Harrap publishing house.
Alternative names for the building are Dean's House or Queensberry Lodging. The Institution was formerly owned by the Dukes of Queensberry.
A window lintel bears the date '1668'.
