CEPA is a center of environmental studies, situated in São Francisco do Sul and in São Bento in the state of Santa Catarina, Brazil. It is part of the University of Joinville - UNIVILLE and harbours scientists studying the ecology of the Mata atlântica, the Brazilian Atlantic rain forest as well as marine biology and plant systematics.
