Centro Nacional de Artesanato

Centro Nacional de Artesanato (the National Artisan's Center), also known as De Arte Tradicional (Traditional art) is a museum and an exposition located at Praça Nova in Mindelo on the island of São Vicente in Cape Verde between Ruas 5 de Julho and Argelia (named after Algeria) which features qualification from Cape Verdean craftsmen. It also serves prominence in workmanship in paintings, ceramics, fabrics of batique and wooden works as well as carpet-like art and pictures, one of them made by Bela Duarte.

The museum features several fabrics by famous Capeverdean artists, including Bela Duarte. It features famous carpet-like art as well as wooden works.
