Central District (Rey County)

The Central District of Rey County (Persian: بخش مرکزی شهرستان ری‎‎) is a district (bakhsh) in Rey County, Tehran Province, Iran. At the 2006 census, its population was 133,066, in 33,091 families. The District's capital, Rey, is located outside the District, in Tehran County; hence, the District has no cities. The District has two rural districts (dehestan): Azimiyeh Rural District and Ghaniabad Rural District.
