The Central Connecticut Blue Devils men's basketball team is the men's basketball team that represent Central Connecticut State University in New Britain, Connecticut, United States. The school's team currently competes in the Northeast Conference and were coached by Howie Dickenman from 1996 until his retirement in 2016. The team last played in the NCAA Division I Men's Basketball Tournament in 2007. On April 6, 2016, the school hired Donyell Marshall as the team's head coach.

History

2013-14 is the 78th season of Blue Devil basketball. Central's first year of competition was the 1934–35 season under coach Harrison J. Kaiser, after whom the athletic building is named. CCSU joined the NCAA Division I ranks in the 1986–87 season, making this year the 28th season at the Division I level.
