Celypha cespitana is a moth of the family Tortricidae. It is found in the Palearctic ecozone, from western Europe to the Ural Mountains, Transcaucasia, Asia Minor, the Near East, Iran, Russia (Siberia, Central Asia, Cisbaikal, Tuva, the Russian Far East), north-eastern China (Manchuria), Korea and Japan (Hokkaido, Honshu). It is also found in the Nearctic ecozone.
The wingspan is about 15 mm. The moth flies from late May to September in western Europe.
The larvae feed on various herbaceous plants.
