Cedric Turvey


Cedric William Turvey (1917-1991) was an Australian rugby league player of the 1940s.

Cedric Turvey played for the St George Dragons for one season in 1942. He came to play for St George whilst on leave from the AIF during World War II. Turvey played Five-Eighth in the Saints team that lost the 1942 Grand Final to Canterbury-Bankstown. Turvey survived the war but did not resume his playing career.

He died on 10 October 1991, aged 74.
