Caterina Tarabotti

Caterina Tarabotti (active 1659) was an Italian female painter of the Baroque period. She was born in Vicenza, and a pupil of Alessandro Varotari and his sister Chiara. She practiced chiefly in Verona, where she painted historical pictures.
