Cascadeer is an indie-folk band from Brisbane, Australia currently consisting of Kieran Ryan (guitar/banjo, vocals), Vanessa Hodgins (vocals, percussion), Nicole Simpson (horns), "Woody" Woodcock (bass), Zac Rush (guitar), and Zoe Davis (percussion).

In 2007, guitarist/singer-songwriter Kieran Ryan moved from his hometown of Canberra to the city of Brisbane to pursue aspirations in theatre. After a year of working various jobs, Ryan decided to enroll in a music course at Queensland University of Technology. Eventually, after meeting other like-minded people, he formed the group Cascadeer.

Since the band's formation, they have played an extensive number of concerts and have toured the east coast of Australia. In 2010, they independently recorded and released their first EP.
