Profiles

Carolina Theatre, also known as the Carolina Civic Center, is a historic movie theater located at Lumberton, Robeson County, North Carolina. It was built in 1927-1928, and is a three-story, Italian Renaissance style brick and terra cottabuilding. The theatre closed in 1975. It has been renovated and houses the Carolina Civic Center.

It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1981. It is located in the Lumberton Commercial Historic District.
