Carleton is a small community located in the Municipal District of Yarmouth, Yarmouth County, Nova Scotia, Canada. It is located approximately 26 kilometers northeast of the town of Yarmouth.

The community is home to many lakes and cottages because of the number of lakes in the area. It is a popular location for sport fishing because of its many lakes and rivers. The community is named after Sir Guy Carleton.
