The Caribbean National Forest Act of 2005 is a United States federal law that designates certain United States National Forest land in Puerto Rico as components of the National Wilderness Preservation System.

Legislative History

The House bill (HR-539) was introduced on February 2, 2005 by Resident Commissioner Luis Fortuño of Puerto Rico. On September 13, 2005, the bill passed the House by voice vote. On November 16, 2005, the bill passed in the Senate by unanimous consent. It became Public Law No: 109-118 on December 1, 2005.
