The Cape to Cape is an adventure held by Renault Trucks between March and July 2009. Starting in Nordkapp, the adventure is divided into 17 stages before reaching the Cape of Good Hope:

  • Stage 1: Nordkapp to St. Petersburg, Russia
  • Stage 2: St. Petersburg to Moscow
  • Stage 3: Moscow to Kiev
  • Stage 4: Kiev to Istanbul
  • Stage 5: Istanbul to Ürgüp
  • Stage 6: Ürgüp to Palmyra, via Cilvegözü/Bab al-Hawa Border Gate and Aleppo
  • Stage 7: Palmyra to Petra
  • Stage 8: Petra to Aqaba
  • by ship across the Red Sea to Djibouti

  • Stage 9: Djibouti to Addis Ababa
  • Stage 10: Addis Ababa to Nairobi
  • Stage 11: Nairobi to Victoria Lake
  • Stage 12: Victoria Lake to Dar es Salaam
  • Stage 13: Dar es Salaam to Lusaka
  • Stage 14: Lusaka to Victoria Falls
  • Stage 15: Victoria Falls to Okavango Delta
  • Stage 16: Windhoek to Sossusvlei
  • Stage 17: Sossusvlei to Cape Town.
  • It runs 30,000 km from Nordkapp all the way to Cape Town. It passes through 3 continents.

    The trucks are used in this adventure was the Renault Kerax and the civilian Sherpa (originally a military vehicle). Nissan Patrol SUVs were also included.
