It was written by Fred Jerkins III and Rodney "Darkchild" Jerkins, and Produced by the latter for the singer's fourth album Between Friends (2006). Released as the album's lead single in 2006, it reached number 26 on the US Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart.
