Profiles

Campo Verde High School is a high school in Gilbert, Arizona, United States, operated by Gilbert Public Schools. It was built by Core Construction and opened in the fall of 2009. Its name is Spanish for "green field," an allusion to Greenfield Elementary School, local arterial Greenfield Road, and to the role of Spanish-speaking people in building Gilbert.

In February 2010, the district installed two 200-kilowatt (270 hp) solar panels on the site to help power a third of the school.

For the 2010–11 school year, it began fielding varsity sports, and also opened its doors to juniors (11th grade students). In the 2011–2012 school year it had its first senior graduating class, and in the 2012–2013 year it had its first four-year graduation.
