Caldasia is a biannual peer-reviewed scientific journal published by the Instituto de Ciencias Naturales (Universidad Nacional de Colombia) since 1940. It covers systematics and botanical and zoological taxonomy, ecology, ethnobotany, archeology, and related issues of the neotropical region, with emphasis on Colombia. It is abstracted and indexed in LATINDEX, Biological Abstracts, and BIOSIS Previews. According to the Journal Citation Reports, the journal has a 2014 impact factor of 0.266.
