Cahya Mata Sarawak Berhad (CMSB) (MYX: 2852) is a leading conglomerate listed on the Main Market of the Malaysian stock exchange, Bursa Malaysia, and is a major private sector player in Sarawak.

Cahya Mata Sarawak literally means "the light of Sarawak's eye" in the Malay language or "Cahya Mata" also figuratively means "the child of".

Early Beginnings

CMSB started as a single product manufacturer of ordinary Portland cement in 1974. The group portfolio has since diversified into more than 40 companies involved in manufacturing, construction materials, trading, construction, road maintenance, property development, financial services and education as well as other services.

Cement manufacturing remains CMSB core business; undertaken by its wholly owned subsidiary CMS Cement Sdn Bhd.
