Consorcio International Hospital, (CIMA Mexico) was formed in 1992 and develops, owns and manages private healthcare facilities in Mexico. Consorcio Hospitalario Internacional, (CIMA Central America) was formed in 1997 to do the same in Central America. The Company uses the service mark Centro Internacional de Medicina - or its Spanish acronym CIMA - for its Mexico and Central American hospitals. In each case, the mark is accompanied by the name of the city in which the facility is located. Cima means peak or pinnacle, and signifies not only the mountainous surroundings of the Company's acute care hospitals, but the quality of healthcare they provide.
