CIBC Retail Markets is the retail banking division of the Canadian Imperial Bank of Commerce. It offers savings and loan services for personal and business customers. CIBC Retail Markets is currently headed by Sonia A. Baxendale, Senior Executive Vice-President.
It offers branch, online and telephone banking, as well as ABMs and credit card services. Private banking is also available to retail customers.
CIBC's co-branded retail electronic banking business, President's Choice Financial, is a co-venture with Loblaw Companies Limited.
In 2003 the bank had 1,106 branches, 4,421 ABM's, over 9 million individual customers (with slightly fewer than half online) and 400,000 corporate customers, with an annual profit of $535 million profit for the year 2003.
