CIBC Development Corporation was the real estate arm of CIBC and was responsible for the buildings owned by the bank:

  • Commerce Court
  • Tour CIBC
  • CIBC 750 Lawrence
  • CIBC Development Corporation, known as CIBCDC, was divided in two groups reprensenting different portions of the CIBC group of companies. One group acted as the landlord where CIBC owned office buildings, the other group worked for the Personal banking side and represented CIBC whether the building, or space, was owned or leased.

    Each group was made of professionals from various background working together to manage, operate, renovate, or build the office and branch space the CIBC needed to operate.

    CIBCDC was spawned from the real estate services groupe originally part of CIBC.
