C. J. Severyn (born June 2, 1989) is an American professional ice hockey player. He is currently playing for the Fort Wayne Komets of the ECHL. He was selected by the Calgary Flames in the 7th round (186th overall) of the 2007 NHL Entry Draft.

Playing career

Severyn attended Ohio State University, where he played four seasons (2007–2011) of NCAA college hockey with the Ohio State Buckeyes men's ice hockey team. In August 2011, he signed an American Hockey League contract with the Abbotsford Heat, but he was sent down to start the 2011–12 season in the ECHL with the Utah Grizzlies.

Prior to the 2014–15 season, Severyn signed a one-year ECHL contract with the Fort Wayne Komets. He attended the Komets AHL affiliate, the Lake Erie Monsters 2014 training camp on September 29, 2014. Severyn was announced to have signed to a two-way contract between the Monsters and the Komets before his re-assignmnet to the Komets.
