Business Today is an American, non-profit student organization that seeks to bridge the communication gap between college students and business executives. The organization publishes a magazine and hosts an international conference by the same name.

Contents

Business Today is headquartered in Princeton, New Jersey, and run by Princeton University undergraduates. Past Business Today alumni sit on the company's Board of Trustees to provide guidance.

Business Today Magazine

Business Today is an American magazine created by and for college students. It was founded in 1968 by three students at Princeton University—Jonathan Perel, Steve Forbes, and Michael Mims. Currently, Business Today is the largest student-run magazine in the United States. It is published twice a year, and has a distribution base of over 200,000 college students and business executives.

Business Today International Conference

Business Today also hosts an annual international business conference each fall in New York City: the Business Today International Conference. The student-organized conference brings 150 college students from around the world together with current business and world leaders to discuss and share perspectives on relevant business issues. Past keynote speakers at the conference have included Gerald Ford, Andrea Jung, and Henry Kissinger. It is the largest conference of its kind in the United States.

Business Today Startup Conference

Business Today forayed into the tech startup world with the Start @ a Startup conference in February 2013. Partnering with Sequoia Capital, the conference aims to connect East Coast engineering and computer science students with the best startups from around the country. Past keynote speakers at the conference have included executives from startups like Dropbox, Square and Cue.
